PostHeaderIcon Rolled Up Paper

How about rolling up some tissue paper or kitchen roll and throwing it to your little ratty. If they are in a playful mood they will leap around after it. It's so funny and cute to watch. Give it a try :)

PostHeaderIcon Non-slip mats

Non-slip mats are a great and cheaper alternative for Cargo nets for your ratlets to climb on.

You can cut them to size and hang them in your cage. They are also good for creating levels.

You can pick these up for a £1 at your local pound Stretcher or any other pound store.

They are easy to clean too!

PostHeaderIcon Plastic Baskets

Plastic Baskets are great to hang from the top of the cage or on the side of the cage, as snuggle places for your ratlets, they are good for an alternative for levels and easy for them to jump from place to place.

I have put shredded kitchen roll in the basket for my girls to snuggle up in. Poppy will have probably dragged it out and used it as bedding in one of her hidey places by now lmao.

PostHeaderIcon String O' Treats

Why not thread a few of your ratties fave treats and hang them up in the cage for them to nibble at!

I tried peapods and cut up carrot chunks , not only did it look colourful , it was a healthy snack too and it beats them chewing other things in the cage My girls enjoyed nibbling, pulling and hiding bits they pulled of the string.

It's a great Boredom Breaker!

PostHeaderIcon Snuggle Tunnel

Ratties love to hide in enclosed spaces and snuggle up together, so why not treat them to a Snuggle Tunnel. It's so easy to make , takes no time at all and doesn't cost a thing.

All you need to do is cut a sleeve off an old top or even a leg of an old pair of jeans or tracksuit bottoms and hang it in your cage. Your ratties will love being cozy in there.

Here's a great way to keep your fur babies entertained. All you need is some kitchen roll or tissue paper.

Layer a few sheets together and put some ratty treats in between the layers.

Fold the sides and tape them down and then put some string around it and hang it in your rats cage making sure that they can reach it standing on their back legs.

Add your ratties and watch them having fun while they rip the tissue and get their treats.
